Braves third baseman Chipper Jones is giving more thought to undergoing an arthroscopic surgical procedure to repair his torn meniscus.
His right knee did not respond favorably to a recent cortisone injection.
There is a chance he won't participate in next week's All-Star Game.
"It's not getting any better," Jones said. "The shot didn't do anything for me."
When Jones first learned he had a torn meniscus on May 15, he received a cortisone injection that provided nearly five weeks worth of relief.
