Mets COO Jeff Wilpon said Tuesday that the team has yet to decide what course of action they'll take prior to the July 31 trade deadline, holding off talk of a fire sale. Many expect New York to trade Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran and Francisco Rodriguez because of the team's struggles at times and their financial issues as well. "It's very difficult to predict right now what's going to happen in the next couple weeks," Wilpon said. "That's why there's a deadline that's out there, and when that deadline approaches I'm sure (GM) Sandy (Alderson) will have a plan that he will present." The Mets entered action on Tuesday at 35-37, good enough for Wild Card contention in the National League.
