Mets shortstop Jose Reyes recorded his 100th hit of the season on Thursday against the Braves, becoming the fastest player in franchise history to reach the mark. He bested the mark set by Lance Johnson in 1996. Reyes leads Major League Baseball with a .348 batting average. Mets manager Terry Collins does not plan to rest Reyes before the All-Star break. "If he's not playing in the All-Star Game, there might be an investigation," Collins said. "So he's not going to get the other days off some of those other guys are going to have. So there's a time right there when there's a possibility I might grab a day, in that spot. Because that's a long haul in the middle of July to play."
