Indians outfielder Travis Buck and his wife were hospitalized on Friday after their New York City cab was involved in an accident. A team spokesman called the accident a "minor fender bender." Buck had been scheduled to DH for the Indians on Friday night. "We sent them for precautionary reasons," manager Manny Acta said of the hospital trip. "The trainers felt Travis looked a little dazed. He may have whiplash." Buck is hitting .256 with two homers and eight RBI for the Indians. He remained on the bench during Cleveland's loss to New York.
