Yankees right-handed reliever Joba Chamberlain has been placed on the disabled list with what the team is calling a "strained flexor muscle."
Chamberlain will be off 10-14 days and then start a throwing program afterward, manager Joe Girardi said. Chamberlain is expected to be out for at least three weeks. An MRI on Wednesday revealed the injury, according to an ESPN.com report.
