Brett Lawrie remains "day-to-day" at Triple-A Las Vegas, which has delayed his possible debut with the Blue Jays.
Lawrie was struck on the hand by a fastball and has missed the last three games with Vegas.
"He's still day-to-day for getting into games," Jays manager John Farrell said.
Prior to the injury, it was widely believed the 21-year-old would make his major league debut during Toronto's series in Baltimore.
