After more than six weeks of matchups and voting, Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum and Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols have both advanced to RealGM's 2011 'Be The GM' finals. You can vote using the poll on the left side of our baseball page. We'll leave voting open through Tuesday, May 24 to allow for maximum representation. We began the tournament with a 32-player bracket, similar to the NCAA Tournament. Due to baseball's 30 teams, we used Rays third baseman Evan Longoria and Lincecum as Wild Cards. Tampa Bay was represented by David Price, while San Francisco had Buster Posey as their entrant. Here's how Pujols and Lincecum got to the finals: First Round Pujols (83.7%) topped Justin Upton (16.3%) Lincecum (71.5%) topped Evan Longoria (28%) Sweet Sixteen Pujols (65.9%) topped Ryan Braun (34.1%) Lincecum (60%) topped Felix Hernandez (40%) Elite Eight Pujols (60%) topped Troy Tulowitzki (40%) Lincecum (81.6%) topped Joe Mauer (18.4%) Final Four Pujols (55.1%) topped Roy Halladay (44.9%) Lincecum (65.1%) topped Robinson Cano (34.9%)
