Joe Mauer took batting practice with the Twins on Friday. Minnesota manager Ron Gardenhire wants to see the catcher continue to ramp up his baseball activity. Mauer has been on the disabled list since April 13 with weakness in his legs. He is hitting .235/.289/.265 this season.
