Dodgers reliever Hong-Chih Kuo will begin a two-game rehabilitation assignment Monday at Class A Rancho Cucamonga. Kuo is eligible to come off the 15-day disabled list Friday. He will pitch on consecutive days for the Quakes, something club officials have been reluctant to do in recent years because of Kuo's history of arm problems. Kuo has been on the DL since April 16 with a left lower-back strain, which is believed to be responsible for the uncharacteristic control problems he was experiencing early in the season.
