Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling left Yankee Stadium late yesterday afternoon and was examined at a local medical facility for what the club called ?a non pitching-related issue.?
Schilling, who was still in uniform when he left the Stadium, returned to the field less than an hour later. After batting practice, the right-hander said, ?I?m fine. It had nothing to do with baseball.?
There is much speculation that Schilling has sustained a possibly serious injury after his 133 pitch outing at Cleveland on April 25th.
