A left oblique injury has forced the Yankees to shut down reliever Joba Chamberlain. The right-hander was supposed to pitch on Wednesday or Thursday, but the team has pushed him back to an undetermined date. "Whenever anyone's dealing with an oblique, there's a level of concern," manager Joe Girardi said. "That's the bottom line. He's been asymptomatic, but he hasn't thrown." There is no timetable for Chamberlain to begin throwing again.
