A large clothes dryer loaded with towels caught fire Friday and caused minor damage at the spring training home shared by the Indians and Reds.
The dryer was destroyed and the facility's sprinkler system flooded the indoor bullpen area behind the right-field wall.
The grounds crew at Goodyear Ballpark worked to get the park ready for an exhibition between Cleveland and Colorado.
?There was no damage to the structure or public areas,? ballpark manager Nathan Torres said. ?We?re ready to play ball.?
