Carlos Gonzalez is eager to follow up his breakout 2010 season, which led to him signing a seven-year, $80 million deal with the Rockies. "I was excited to come," Gonzalez said in preparation of the first full-squad workout on Tuesday. "It's a little bit irritating when everybody is around you. We need the space. We need to be here, concentrating on baseball. This is the most important thing for us. We want to get back to work. I feel at home. I feel like I'm in the family when I'm here with the players. "I just need to have the same confidence that I had last year and forget about the past. Start working today. That's all I'm going to try to do, be the same guy and help my team to win."
