Pitcher C.C. Sabathia was activated by the Cleveland Indians from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday after missing a month with a strained oblique muscle.
The left-hander was forced to leave in the third inning of his opening-night start on April 2 in Chicago because of the injury, which put him on the disabled list for the second straight season.
Sabathia returned Tuesday right where he left off exactly one month later, facing the White Sox, this time at home.
