The Giants have exercised their options on the contracts of general manager Brian Sabean and manager Bruce Bochy through the 2012 season. Sabean, 54, is the longest-tenured general manager in the majors heading into his 15th season with San Francisco. Sabean hired the 55-year-old Bochy away from the rival San Diego Padres in 2007 to replace Felipe Alou.
