Nick Swisher believes the Yankees will find a way if Andy Pettitte decides to retire rather than help round out their starting rotation. "We have so much talent on that team, we're going to find a way to win," Swisher said. "I can't wait for spring training to get going." The outfielder sympathized with Pettitte about his decision on whether to pitch this season. "I don't know what it's like to have kids ... but I know that he misses his family," said Swisher. "In my opinion, if he chooses to ride into the sunset, he's definitely earned that," Swisher said of Pettitte. "We'd love to have him back, but if he's going to go, he's going with glory."
