The Kansas City Royals have agreed to terms with left-handed pitcher Bruce Chen on a one-year contract for 2011. The contract is pending a physical exam. Consistent with club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Chen, 33 led the pitching staff with a 12-7 record while posting a 4.17 ERA in 33 games, including 23 starts in 2010.
