The Cardinals are interested in signing veteran catcher Bengie Molina to backup his younger brother, Yadier. St. Louis has made it clear to Bengie Molina that he is their preferred choice if he can accept reduced playing time and less money. Bengie has publicly mulled retirement after splitting last season between the Giants and the Rangers.
