The Mets have narrowed their search for a new manager down to four candidates, assistant general manager John Ricco said.
"Some veterans guys and some new guys," Ricco said. "Kind of a good mix."
Terry Collins, Bob Melvin, Chip Hale and Wally Backman will be called back for second interviews this week.
Ricco said the order of candidates had not been established, but every effort will be made to complete the interviews this week in Orlando.
