Phil Tannenbaum, agent for Tigers left-hander Jamie Walker, plans to discuss a contract extension with club legal counsel John Westhoff during the upcoming West Coast trip. Walker, 34, who has a 2.08 ERA in four appearances this season, said Thursday he would like to finish his career as a Tiger.
Walker will make $1.25 million this year. He has incentive clauses at 55, 65 and 75 appearances, which pay $50,000 at each threshold.
