Terry Collins, Clint Hurdle and Bob Melvin have emerged as the top candidates to become the next manager of the Mets, according to sources. Each of the three are expected to be invited back for a second interview with New York general manager Sandy Alderson. A potential fourth candidate for a callback is current third base coach Chip Hale.
