The Yankees are wasting no time in taking steps to correct what they believe to be the glaring flaw in their $210M team.
"It's always pitching," GM Brian Cashman had said outside the visitors clubhouse shortly after the Yankees were eliminated from the ALCS by the Rangers, "It's always going to be pitching."
As such, the Yankees contacted the agent for Cliff Lee on Sunday, the first day of the free-agent negotiating period, according to a report by The Associated Press.
