Josh Byrnes completed his second interview with the Mets on Monday for the team's vacant general manager job. Byrnes is one of two finalists for the position. The other finalist, Sandy Alderson, is scheduled for a similar meeting on Tuesday. The Mets could announce a hire to succeed Omar Minaya as general manager as soon as Friday.
