According to a report on Boston-based site WEEI.com, Brian Butterfield, who has been with Jays for nine-years is still a candidate for the team's manager job.
Sandy Alomar Jr., and Red Sox coaches DeMarlo Hale and John Farrell are also candidates.
The National Post contacted Butterfield on Wednesday night and he told the paper that while he was not called for a second interview yet, that "I'm looking at it as no news is good news."
