Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia says he's ready to pitch in Game 4 of the ALCS against the Rangers on short rest if the team asks him to do so. Sabathia typically skips his side session when he may pitch on short rest, but he will throw on Sunday. Right now, A.J. Burnett is set to pitch Game 4. "Nobody has told me anything different," Sabathia said. "Whenever they tell me I'm pitching, I'm pitching. It doesn't matter if I throw a bullpen tomorrow or the day before I pitch. If they want me to take the ball, I'll take it. They know that." New York could choose to pitch Sabathia on Tuesday night if they loss Game 3 on Monday.
