New York will face Minnesota in the ALDS. "Twelve million dollars over two years, maybe $10 million over two," one former general manager said. "But I think he'll probably get a lot more than that." A scout that has worked in front offices says the Yankees are likely to wait and see how Jeter performs in the playoffs. "I think they will wait and see what he does in the playoffs," said the scout.
