Yankees manager Joe Girardi hasn't ruled out removing A.J. Burnett from the team's starting rotation. New York lost to the White Sox on Friday night in Burnett's most recent start. The right-hander was blasted for nine runs. "We'll evaluate after this weekend where we are and what we need to do," Girardi said. "Take it the way you want to take it... we'll do what we have to do." Burnett admitted that he's been up-and-down this season, but said he'd be surprised if he didn't make his scheduled start against the A's on Wednesday. "It would surprise me. Like I said, he makes the decisions," Burnett said.
