Dodgers manager Joe Torre felt sadness after learning former pitcher Roger Clemens was indicted for perjury on Thursday for allegedly lying to Congress. "Sadness. Sadness. I mean, if Roger was impersonal to me, where I'd never gotten to know him, I'd say, 'That's what you get.' You know?" Torre told The New York Post. "But knowing him personally and feeling close to him, it's sad. It certainly is, and I don't know anything else I can say about it." Torre managed Clemens from 1999-2003 and again in 2007 with the Yankees.
