On Saturday, Cito Gaston reconfirmed his desire to leave his position as manager of the Blue Jays at the end of the year. ?I?m getting a little old to stay around. I?m outta here,? Gaston said. ?I?m happy in the fact that I?m leaving. There?s some more things I want to do in my life. You can?t get time back. You can get money back, but you can?t get time back. ?More time with my grandkids, more time with my wife to travel some more. I?m 66 years old and there?s a few things I want to do while I can still walk.? Gaston has no interest in being part of the process to decide his successor. ?I don?t even want to be in the room,? he said.
