Braves first base prospect Freddie Freeman has been a thorn in the side of pitchers in the International League this season. Freeman has an OPS of .868 (.303/.366) with 15 home runs and 72 RBI in 106 games for the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves. Atlanta drafted Freeman with the 78th pick in the 2007 First-Year Player Draft. He's been especially hot in August with an OPS of .998 (.368/.419) to go with a home run and nine RBI. Freeman, a slugger, needs to be a tad more patient though. He has walked (38) nearly half as often as he has been struck out (72).
