Braves right-handed pitching prospect Julio Teheran has bounced back after a rough start in late-July.
Teheran allowed five earned runs over 4 2/3 innings in his debut for Double-A Mississippi on July 28.
Since then, Teheran has a scoreless streak of 11 2/3 innings over two starts. He was victorious on Aug. 2 and earned a no-decision on Aug. 7.
The right-hander has seven strikeouts in each of his last two starts and has walked just four batters after allowing six free passes in his Mississippi debut.
Teheran is 1-1 with a 2.76 ERA, 17 strikeouts and 10 walks in 16.1 innings for Mississippi.
Over the entire 2010 season, he is 7-7 with a 2.34 ERA, 138 strikeouts and 33 walks.
