The Blue Jays tied an American League record on Monday night when they had six doubles in a seven-run inning against the Yankees in New York. Toronto accomplished the feat in the fifth inning of their 8-6 win over New York. "That certainly got us jump-started to win this ballgame," Blue Jays manager Cito Gaston said. "Everybody kind of chipped in." The Blue Jays sent 11 batters to the plate in the fifth inning, chasing Yankees starter A.J. Burnett from the game nine hitters into the onslaught.
