The Rays defeated the Indians 6-3 on Saturday to earn their first victory in Cleveland since Sept. 28, 2005. Carl Crawford is the only holdover from that team. "If I would have known all it would take was to get a former Indian, I would have done it a long time ago," manager Joe Maddon cracked, referring to adding catcher Kelly Shoppach during the offseason. "The voodoo gods around here somewhere really lightened up today. I could feel the difference. The humidity went away. It was not going to rain. It got cooler. We hit a three-run homer to tie it. It was all there."
