Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano is pulling out of Monday's Home Run Derby, according to a source. Cano accepted the invitation Tuesday, but left open the possibility he might not participate. Yankees manager Joe Girardi and hitting coach Kevin Long both opposed the idea of his participation. "Physically, I think is somewhat of a grind," Girardi said. The New York Daily News reported on Wednesday that Cano has dropped out because of a back issue.
