The Nationals have officially promoted Stephen Strasburg to Triple-A Syracuse and he will make his debut on Friday. Strasburg, 21, dominated Double-A competition going 3-1 with a 1.64 ERA in five starts for the Harrisburg Senators. On his current pace, the right-hander is expected to make his major-league debut next month.
