Jarrod Saltalamacchia will likely start for the Rangers at catcher on Opening Day, but Taylor Teagarden will play plenty this season.
"It's probably going to be equal playing time," manager Ron Washington said. "They both can handle it, and nobody has really separated themselves."
Washington will meet with both catchers on Sunday before making a final decision on who will start Opening Day.
