The Red Sox may be preparing a video to help convince free agent Roger Clemens to return to Boston, but by all indications, the only 40-something pitcher at Fenway Park this season will be David Wells. The Herald reported yesterday that the Sox were getting ready to make their pitch to Clemens, the seven-time Cy Young Award winner who hasn?t decided whether he?ll play in 2006. But the common belief throughout baseball is that even if the video had the story line of "Gone With The Wind" and the special effects of "The Matrix," the 43-year-old will suit up for the Houston Astros or no one at all.
