The Phillies have announced that pitcher Jamie Moyer is doing well after surgery on Friday. Moyer had to be hospitalized on Tuesday following symptoms from sports hernia surgery on Oct. 2. "Jamie is doing very well," Phillies physician Michael Ciccotti said in a statement. "The surgery is not likely to impact his rehab schedule and is likely to have minimal impact on his spring training schedule." He was hospitalized just five days after the initial surgery because of a blood infection.
