Pirates pitcher Ross Ohlendorf is spending the offseason as an intern in Washington D.C.
Ohlendorf graduated from Princeton University with a degree in operations research and financial engineering. The right-hander had a 3.8 college GPA and scored a 1520 on his SATs.
The 27-year-old is working in the Agriculture Department.
"I've really enjoyed it," he said. "In addition to learning a lot of things and meeting a lot of neat people, I've gotten to do some cool events too."
