Phillies manager Charlie Manuel has acknowledged that he'll consider pitching around Alex Rodriguez in the World Series. "If he's not the best hitter in baseball, he's one of the top three," Manuel told the New York Post. "He's the guy in their lineup where you definitely say, 'Don't let him beat you.' He's having a good postseason, and it's definitely something we have to deal with." Rodriguez is hitting .438 with five home runs and 12 RBI in the postseason. His on-base plus slugging number is an amazing 1.516 in nine games.
