Padres CEO Jeff Moorad isn't releasing names, but the club has continued to search for a new general manager. "I won't comment on who've we've talked with or who we are going to talk with," Moorad told the San Diego Union-Tribune. Moorad did admit that the team will conduct two more interviews, bring the total to five in the wake of Kevin Towers' departure. Boston assistant general manager Jed Hoyer, Oakland assistant general manager David Forst and former Toronto general manager Pat Gillick have been linked to the job.
