Red Sox reliever Manny Delcarmen escaped a car crash without injury on Saturday. Delcarmen had to be taken to Mass General Hospital by ambulance after hitting the I-93 median on his way to Fenway Park at around 2:30 in the afternoon. His Hummer lost its left front tire, the driver's door was crushed inwards and the windshield shattered, but he escaped with issue. Delcarmen said he was "still a little shaken up" about the accident. "When I knew I was OK, I felt like I was in a movie. This was my first accident."
