Rangers reliever Eddie Guardado is thinking about retiring at the end of the season. Guardado appeared in his 906th game on Monday night and has come to be known as "Everyday Eddie" because of his reliability. "Yeah, I'm thinking about hanging it up," Guardado admitted to MLB.com. "I can't give you a definite. December rolls around, you start getting that edge and mama wants you gone. But it may be time. You got the young guys coming up, doing their thing. But when you leave the game, you just hope you've left an impression on the young kids and they do it the right way and respect the game." Guardado, a 21st round pick by the Twins in 1990, is in his 17th season in the Major Leagues.
