The acquisition of Scott Kazmir likely means the end for John Lackey with the Angels. The Angels got Kazmir from the Rays for two minor leaguers on Friday. "We look at this opportunity as a fit for us not only in the short term but in the long term," general manager Tony Reagins told the Los Angeles Times. Lackey will be a free agent at the end of the season.
