Mets third baseman David Wright could miss the remainder of the season after suffering a concussion on Saturday. Wright was released from the hospital and placed on the disabled list Sunday. He was hit in the helmet with a 94-mph pitch from San Francisco's Matt Cain. New York manager Jerry Manuel said there's "a possibility" Wright could miss the remainder of the season, depending on further tests. "David wanted to take a chance to go out and play, but we decided to take it away from him and DL him based on the recommendation of our doctors who consulted with a specialist," Mets general manager Omar Minaya said. "It's a medical decision."
