Dodgers manager Joe Torre claims that Manny Ramirez's hand isn't an issue. Ramirez was hit on the hand with a fastball during a game on July 21. X-rays came back negative that night, but he has been mired in a slump ever since clubbing a grand slam the next night. Ramirez is 7-for-42 (.167) with three extra-base hits and no RBIs since July 22. "I really don't," Torre said when asked by MLB.com if he felt Manny was still bothered by the hand, "I think he's on the verge of doing something good right now. He had a couple of good swings [Sunday]."
