White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has cast his vote to hold onto outfielder Jermaine Dye.
Dye's name has been mentioned in a number of trade rumors this season, and the non-waiver trade deadline is just a few weeks away.
"Believe me. I want to sign J.D.," Guillen said. "If you ask [general manager] Kenny Williams if you want J.D. here, he'll say the same stuff."
Dye is making $11.5 million this season and there is a mutual player/team option for 2010 worth $12 million in his contract.
