After arguably being the best position player during Spring Training for the Baltimore Orioles, Matt Wieters has had some early struggles in Triple-A. He went a long ways in breaking out of that slump on Thursday by going 2-for-5 with both hits being homers.
Wieters had been hitless over his previous three games and hadn't hit a homer since April 16th.
Wieters is now batting .270/.368/.430 on the season.
