American slugger Tuffy Rhodes reached the 450 home run plateau on Sunday, becoming just the 12th player in Japanese professional baseball to reach the mark.
"When I first came to Japan, I never thought I would hit this many homers," Rhodes told the Associated Press.
Rhodes, 40, hit three home runs on Sunday and his total of 452 is the most for an active player in Japanese baseball.
