CC Sabathia discussed his struggles against the Orioles on Opening Day, when he got roughed up for six runs in less than five innings. "It was just command of the fastball," Sabathia said. "I've stressed this ? everything I throw is off my fastball: my changeup, my cutter, my two-seamer. When I can't find command of that and can't get ahead of guys, it's pretty difficult for me." Mark Teixeira struggled as well, but manager Joe Girardi isn't the least bit worried. "They've both had slow starts in their careers, so I wouldn't say it's because they're in a Yankee uniform and they're trying to do too much," Girardi said. "It just didn't happen for them today."
